Ron Nagle: Peripheral Cognition

This was Ron Nagle’s first museum retrospective, and the first contemporary show I really brought to the San Diego Museum of Art. I had seen Nagle’s work curated by Massimiliano Gioni at the Venice Biennale, and was hooked. At the time, Ron was showing with Pierre Marie Giraud in Brussels, but Matthew Marks came from LA  to see the show, and has been representing Ron ever since.
