Brenda Biondo: Play

Brenda Biondo shared this body of work with me when I reviewed her portfolio at an art fair. At the time I was Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the San Diego Museum of Art, and eventually Brendo and I got to work together on a show. The abstractions were Brenda’s most recent series, and paired beautifully with a body of work she had made for a book: photographs of derelict children’s playgrounds.
